Our Servies

Put on your fishing boots and pack your camera for a fun-filled fishing adventure. Sather Guide Service takes you on a fishing adventure that is smooth sailing. We do all the preparation, pick out the most alluring tackle, handle all the boating arrangements and you can even pack a boat-side picnic. All we require is that you dress for the weather, layers are best, and prepare yourself to catch a beauty on the river.

Featured Fishing Location: Cowlitz River at Blue Creek

The Cowlitz River is one of the top ten rivers for Stealhead and Salmon fishing in Washington State. The Cowlitz River is roughly 105 mi. in length and holding three major Hydroelectric Dams; Dry Falls Dam, Riffe Dam and Mayfield Dam. The Cowlitz River also two fish hatcheries six miles apart, the Barrier Dam Salmon Hatchery, which produces Salmon and the Blue Creek Trout Hatchery, which produces Steelhead

"It's all about catching fish and having fun!" That's our motto here at Sather Guide Service. Our guide, Jared Sather is a USCG/WDFW licensed and insured guide in Washington State. He fishes all over Washington for salmon, steelhead, sturgeon, and trout out of his 23 1/2 ft Wooldridge. Jared takes everything into account for your experience, and his passion to share his love of fishing is contagioius and exciting!
